Healthy Weight Secrets: 3 Habits of Trim People

So I confess: I’ve been snooping! For the last few weeks I’ve been asking a lot of my more fit and trim friends (and even a few strangers! lol) what they do to stay in shape. Surprisingly it’s quite simple! Here are three easy habits I learned- if you’ve got more feel free to share in the comments section!

1. Eat breakfast. Eating a breakfast balanced with protein, carbohydrates and a little fat really will ensure that you don’t overeat during the rest of the day!

2. Protein, protein, protein! Lean meats like fish and chicken are great ways to get protein into your diet. When I asked trim friends what their #1 protein was it was fish!

3. Walk. I asked an older trim interviewee how she stayed so fit & she said she keeps it simple and walks everywhere! So get off your train or bus a few stops early and walk the rest of the way!

I accidentally settled into what I call an “entrepreneur’s diet”. Namely, in trying to save money and having no company or client to support my meals, I mostly avoid high-calorie meals from eating out. And carrying water, almonds, and dried cranberries in my bag helps deal with a varied schedule, saves money, and crowds out unhealthy drinks/snacks. The ability to take a midday run whenever the hell I want to doesn’t hurt either. 🙂 = Weight loss without trying that hard

Haha. Sounds like you have the herb-crusted handcuffs.
Seriously, almost everyone I know who’s left my former firm has become more fit.
