Outdoor Boot Camp – Join other fitness enthusiasts in the park for the ultimate workout led by personal trainer and NYU nutrition graduate student Minerva Huang. Except for a mat, no equipment is needed. Instead, you will use your own body weight/gravity for resistance and plyometrics for cardio. Exercises will emphasize proper form and will be done individually, with partners, and as a group. This boot camp is suitable for all fitness levels, whether you are training for a competition or have never done a pushup. Exercises will be adjusted to meet every individual’s abilities but expect to be challenged and to have fun!
What to bring: Towel, mat, water, athletic sneakers, and (optional) workout gloves.
Where: Washington Square Park
When: Sat/Sun (varies) – for 1 hour
