NYC Marathon Runners & Volunteers Sound Off on Cancellation (CFC Opinion)

As many of you have probably heard by now, the NYC Marathon was cancelled last night by Mayor Bloomberg, given intense public pressure to focus NYC resources on Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. Over 40,000 runners were set to participate in the race, so I thought it would be worth it to hear what they thought about the cancellation- immediately after it happened. So I went to the Jacob Javits Center Marathon Expo (where runners were supposed to go to pick up their racing materials) and asked them:

Do you think it was fair that NYC cancelled the Marathon this year? Check out their reactions -some of which may shock you!

NOW YOU SOUND OFF: Do you think it was fair to cancel the Marathon in light of Hurricane Sandy? Do you think the Marathon would have been good for the city & should have gone on? How could the cancellation have been done better/differently?
