My Thanksgiving Meal In Pictures (CFC Holiday Edition)

I hope that everyone had a happy Thanksgiving last week! Here’s a lookbook of what I ate for Thanksgiving. The crowning menu item was a new bread pudding recipe that’s simple and sinfully delicious…will post it later! In the meantime, feast your eyes!

Happy Holidays, CFC

Hub’s Butternut Squash Soup

We started things out with some butternut squash soup that my fiance made. Just call him ChicFitHubs! 😉

#TeamThanksgivingChicken

Like I said on Facebook I’m #TeamChicken not #TeamTurkey on Thanksgiving. I trussed this bad boy up and stuffed it with rosemary & quartered lemons- delish!

“Leggo” Lamb

This is a leg of lamb in a garlic & rosemary marinade. The marinade doesn’t look nearly as good as it tastes, but trust me it was yum city! Get the recipe for this dish here: http://wp.me/p2aqEf-hr

Green Beans with Roasted Garlic

Had to have some greens on my plate, though these ones got a little overdone lol- green beans with olive oil & garlic.

Brussel Sprouts with Turkey Bacon

Gotta have some more greens- brussel sprouts with turkey bacon! You can check out the recipe for this here: http://wp.me/p2aqEf-tc

A FULL Plate!!

My FULL plate!! Protein on the right (lamb is under the drumstick on the right side), Veggies on the left (taking up about half the plate on the left side) and I’ve got some carbs in there too (sweet potato mash & one white potato). 😉

Bread Pudding!

I couldn’t take this picture fast enough so that I could eat this bread pudding!!!! A new addition & big winner this Thanksgiving!! Had this with some vanilla ice cream on top- YUMS!! Stay tuned for the recipe!
