Highlights of 2013 on ChicFitChef.com!!


It’s been an amazing year on the blog, in no small part because of you as a reader!!! Here are some 2013 highlights:

1. Walking Down The Aisle in Style


Had to start on a personal note: I got married this year, and it meant a lot to me to be able to share some of my special moments in the wedding planning process with you guys!! Also learned a bit about wedding weight loss woes and how to come up with a healthy diet/workout plan as a bride to be!! So happy to be a Mrs!

2. CFC on TV!! (T25 Infomercial)

All I can say is that you never know what can happen when you say “yes”. #blessed #20slesson

3. Review of Jamie Eason’s 12-Week LiveFit Program


This year I conquered the weight room- Jamie Eason style!! Her LiveFit workout program taught me that there’s nothing to fear in the weight room -except maybe the creepy personal trainer who offers to “spot you”! It all began here.

4. Healthy Home-Cooking: Roasted Chicken & Perfectly Seared Salmon


I love getting in the kitchen and making something yummy & healthy. And this year I went back to basics with recipes for moist roasted whole chicken, perfectly seared salmon. Sometimes it’s the simple recipes that are the best!

5. #SummerStartsNow2013 Series

Fun in the Sun

Abs, abs, abs! We all wanted them for summer, so the blog featured a few posts on how to get them along with other tips & tricks for getting hot before the summer heat. 😉

6. Fantastic Interviews from Fit Brides, Fit Couples & Fit Minds


And of course, ChicFitChef.com wouldn’t be the same without amazing Spotlight Thursday interviews! This year featured a bride who went through a 40lbs body transformation, couples burning it out together in the weight room and a lawyer using yoga for peace of mind and physical well-being. Some more great stories here, here and here. Special thank you to everyone who did an interview this year!!
