Insanity: Cardio Power & Resistance
I’m in the middle of a bereavement leave from work so I was able to do this workout in the afternoon rather than the first thing in the morning. I loved it! I was able to do the workout while fully awake and it helped me to push even harder. Truthfully, this is a temporary luxury because once I’m back to work I’ll be pressing play with the sunrise.
Favorite Move – Power Jumps – I love these because they completely exhaust me and make my heart race but I don’t feel that until after I’m done with them so I’m able to push through.
Hardest Move – One Leg Tricep Dips – I usually don’t have issues with these moves but this round my arms were shaking as I did them. That’s probably a good sign.
Current Struggle – Recovering from power jumps
Dig Deep Tip – Keep breathing. For jumping moves, I realize I have a tendency to hold my breath which wears me out pretty quickly because we need oxygen. Now I focus on my breathing and I’m able to last longer.
